M6 Take Down by TPS Arms 3 year review and discussion on the Best Gear 2024 options
Love ya brother. common sense is missing in the world today
Apparently great minds think alike. I just picked up a 2 piece ice fishing rod and a size 50 spinning reel for this exact purpose. The rod came in a nice little 17" plastic tube that slides right in to the pack and is barely even noticeable.
I have the tan pack and just ordered the camo one but what peaked my interest is the top you have on the second canteen. Where might one find that cap?
Will the Brown PF Scout Backpack be restocked, and if so will it have the upgraded Molle straps?
Brilliant
Fantastic, I have learnt so much. We don't have below zero temperatures, even so, this information is extremely useful. Thank you Dave!
I absolutely love this, old heads still willing to learn from other disciplines, see what they do "better" (for certain situations/scenarios). People who are willing to experiment, learn and change will always be one step ahead of dogmatic folks - That said though, as human beings, we have an innate ability to ritualise everything, so it is sort of natural to us, but stepping back from it can be really beneficial.
Hello Dave! I live in Thailand and I will be camping in Thailands largest rainforest. This is a great setup and asking do you ship to thailand? I have a adventure camping channel and I want to feature this product in my videos. Thanks Dave
Congrats for realizing something that most of us (not in the survivalist community) already knew.
great idea!
What do you do when you get to the last corner or end of the rope to keep it tight?
Does anyone know what brand of map bag that is at the 17:24 mark
Dave just want to add a little trick I found for the zipper of your hammock put a string on the inside zipper pins and I find it easier to close the zipper while laying in it
Not many people would post this. But i respect your conviction...to know your viewers are not so judgemental.
I would love to see further demonstrations with this bandana
I love this video, its just simple filmend and realy good. Please more from this. Greets from germany
Do you think you will ever get these back in stock? I know “Together Made” is not doing much right now. But maybe use a different company for that part of it. I can make my own, but like the Pathfinder engraving on the covers.
Was able to get the coyote brown version of the Scout Pack on the second run. Couldn't be happier with it! I carry it with me anytime I camp or head to the woods. And it absolutely does ride comfortably on the back when loaded properly. I use the zippered rain cover compartment underneath as sort of a concealed carry pocket for a .380. Works really well for that purpose and is accessible with the pack strapped on. I can honestly say, the PF Scout Pack is the most durable, comfortable, functional pack I’ve ever owned. And it’s my favorite piece of Pathfinder gear. I think the addition of MOLLE webbing on the front of this new version is a great idea, and proof again that Dave never stops striving to make his “best” better.
Just ordered! That felt intense I could feel them flying off the shelf 😂
This was the time I melted my steal to ash.
Comming back to reminisce and relearn with the play lists. 😊
Sir , we been using this in the fire department for ages!!!!!
I love my peg looms for Arts sake.
Can you explain how you converted the numbers on your phone, to your map. Because there were other numbers you ignored. Why? What are the other numbers?
That was explained in the prior video
onX is about the best for this, have you used it? Can show sat image, topo, 3d topo and sat, etc.
That's pretty awesome!
Thank you this is an excellent design.
Dave is the King
Good looking pack. I love the idea of trying new gear but gave up trying new packs, I’m weird in that I cannot get used to anything after carrying my old alice pack for so many years😂
Can’t wait for 1300! My Coyote scout pack has been a beast
Thanks Dave
45L version
Would be nice to see a bag that's not camo so we can Urban carry with it.
Link to the poles and other gear used?..
Hmmmm... I was looking at the brown one a few months ago. They are a great pack but I needed a place for a pouch at the back as where I spend a lot of time there is a lot of close country getting there. Side pouches make the pack wider and so a little difficult to get through close country as I tend to get hung up on the Auzzi bush a little more. The width of this pack is perfect. The volume/capacity is a good size, fits all I need and a little more for longer excursions without being encumbrant. Love the robust materials and exceptional comfort... Now with the molle where I need it. Glad I didn't spend my money sooner or I'd have to stitch on the molle and camo it myself. Thanks for this video Dave, I wouldn't have known about it otherwise. Universal Sovereign Citizen
Henry is making a good single shot 12 guage right now.
Event sounds awesome 👏🏻
Amazing gear. Thanks sir, you are getting too much of my money, but love the wisdom and everything I have gotten so far
If that sells out quickly, could you do another run of them? I'd like to have one, but I'm not in the financial position to spend that much on a bag right now. I'd have to wait for at least a few months before I could spend that much on something I don't absolutely need.
I wish I knew about the oss event sooner! It sounds great and I’m going to try to make it out!
A few years back I had a pretty decent OOPS to my thumb and the next day I started learning about knife safety and how to properly use one. These are important lessons because it only takes one second to seriously ruin your day.
Thanks Dave
That's a great looking pack. The molle webbing would be a game changer for strapping on an ifak.
Good stuff. Thank you
Nice mods to this pack. Good vid.
Would love to see matching M81 woodland webbing straps on that. Although, I'm sure it would drive up the price. M81 is one of my all-time favorite patterns along with Rhodesian Brushstroke and Vietnam Tigerstripe.
My quick deploy ridge line has 4 prussicks made with bank line. I just use toggles to attach the bug nets on my hammocks. I use a marlin spike hitch in the bowline end and truckers hitch on the other.
Dave that's an awesome pack!!
Woodland is God's flannel.
Dave, you always thank everyone for the views and support for your channel and business. Well i want to thank you for providing all the great content and selling awesome products. Gonna have to get one of these woodland camo packs.
